-Mischief makers allege Femi has been served quit notice by landlord, Orji
Evil news rides stratus to cumulus clouds while good news baits. Thus it takes hearts filled with malice and ill bliss to slander a man of immense weight and honour, friends and loyalists of Femi Fani-Kayode would argue.
As you read, mischief makers are rejoicing and spreading news of Fani-Kayode’s eviction from his Abuja mansion in Asokoro. According to them, the former aviation minister, who is currently in custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over charges of financial fraud, has been given the quit notice by his landlord in Abuja, Orji Uzor Kalu. The former Abia State governor allegedly served Fani-Kayode quit notice soon after he was incarcerated by the EFCC for complicity in the Sambo Dasuki-gate billion dollar fraud.
However, friends and loyalists of the embattled former minister have risen to his defence claiming he had never defaulted in payment of his house rent to ex-Governor Kalu. Until the rumour started doing rounds, many people thought Fani-Kayode owned the mansion he occupies in the nation’s Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
