Adetunji Adeyemi, the new MD of NNPC Retail, has climbed to the top of the greasy pole; like a Bengali bride, he has become the object of lust and high affection of every element and juggernaut prowling the cutthroat halls of the NNPC.
Prominent male and female staff of NNPC, powerful oil and gas cabals, lusting for wealth and juicy oil deals, have re-strategized their blueprint for progress and achieving their heartfelt dreams; less than 10 hours of his confirmation as the new MD, they are milling around him, and singing his praises to high heavens, even as you read. Everybody wishes to befriend the new MD.
Suddenly, Adetunji has become the darling of everyone. The very gentle and reserved dude now attracts oil and gas power blocs to himself as the pollen nectar attracts butterflies. He has become the toast of many favour-seekers and bootlickers who feel their lot would be bettered by patronising the him.

Adetunji just needs to know that such gestures from the so-called ‘well-wishers’ always come with some attendant favors.
Adetunji, he is flamboyant, gregarious and bohemian. You may call him an Adonis for his gorgeous dress sense and expensive taste in designer apparels especially Saville Row suits. Now that he has access to an attractive remuneration and treasure trove, he may never lack in cash and all the good things of life. Ask Esther Ogbue, the former MD of NNPC Retail, she would confirm this
