Without doubt, Mama Oshiomhole, sources said, is always eager to rub it in the face of whoever crosses her path that she is the mother of the incumbent governor. Currently, commissioners and permanent secretaries in Edo are said to live in awe of her while dreading running into her in any way.  Even her son, the governor, it is alleged dare not look her in the face or fledge his authority before her. Little wonder they call her ‘Mother Excellency”. Her house at Iyamo near Auchi in Etsako West Local Government area is now a Mecca of sort as lobbyists and favour-seekers persistently besiege the place for one favour or the other. In the thick of her worship and adulation by politicians and favour-seekers alike, Mama Oshiomhole is living large.
