Reni, the winsomely beautiful wife of multibillionaire businessman and scion of the illustrious Folawiyo family, Tunde Folawiyo, is set to open a restaurant called NOK on Saturday, 19th December, on Akin Olugbade street, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Located in a less boisterous part of Victoria Island, Lagos, the new restaurant is already creating serious buzz amongst lovers of fine African cuisines. Not just because it is sited on an expansive ground, it is more because it will provide a cozy ambience with impressive table setting that adds a romantic atmosphere to dining.
As you enter into this truly unique world of comfort, service and style magnificently located in a picturesque part of Victoria Island, one of the first things that would arrest your attention is the sheer architectural delight and pristine environment which make it an ideal place for pleasure and business.
Everywhere is spick and span and has the halo of paradise as espoused by the Bible. Everywhere feature uniquely designed interiors with contemporary furnishings with elegant styling and attention to detail.
However, there is a certain tinge of spirituality attached to the loveliness of Reni; it’s reminiscent of that far-fetched beauty characteristic of the fabled goddess of verges, whose transcendence and methodical tenderness nurtures the dreams and efforts of the vagrant croppers as it fosters the gawky raspberry refugees from gardens and the sloe, juniper, blackberry, among other tenants of nomadic farmlands.
Reni runs Alara Concept Store, a one-stop destination for the acquisition of ‘Objects d’ Art,’ such as furniture, textiles, fashion and sculptures.
Hitherto a full-time housewife, but with all the appurtenances of wealth at her beck and call, Reni – a trained interior decorator – is sparing no expense in her mission to change the Lagos shopping landscape.
