….. Who wants the former petroleum minister dead?
Yes, she’s down with breast cancer but Diezani Madueke is not dead. Mischief-makers beware. Family and friends were flummoxed today in the wake of a vicious rumour bearing the news of her death. No sooner than the rumour hit the air, the social space was thrown in disarray as various phone lines, blogs and social networking sites were fired up by the buzz of the shocking and heartrending news.
However, few minutes later, the muscular arms of truth wrested the fate of the embattled former petroleum minister from the villainy of rumour mongers and mischief makers. Diezani was not dead. She is not dead.
Besides the fact that the story is untrue, one of the initial sources of the rumour was none other than a presumed loyalist and associate of Diezani, a dude who made money under her.
The news subsequently went viral on the social media; however, in a swift reaction to the viral news circulating the media, alleging the death of Diezani in a London Hospital , her family has debunked the story condemning it as outright falsehood and unfounded.
Grief and disappointment give rise to anger, anger to envy, envy to malice, and malice to grief again, till the whole circle be completed. Now that it has been established that the news was a lie, the question nagging at every one’s mind is: “Who wishes to extinguish Admiral Alison Madueke happiness? Who wants Diezani dead?”
