The 69-year-old father of Yoruba actress, Mosun Filani-Odunoye, Pa Olatunde Filani is dead. The retired lecturer of College of Education, Ekiti State, died after a brief illness.
Pa Olatunde Filani was a native of Ikole Ekiti.
Mosun Filani, one of the children of the deceased is a front line actress in the Yoruba movie industry, who has distinguished herself in the world of make belief both as a role interpreter and a producer.
She is married to Barrister Kayode Oduoye, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP candidate for the House of Representatives for Ifelodun/Boripe/Odo Otin Federal Constituency in Osun state.
