The Nigeria Customs Service Board has approved the promotion of 2,634 officers.
It also approved the appointment of five Assistant Comptrollers General, the dismissal of one Assistant Comptroller General and the compulsory retirement of another, according to a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer, DC Joseph Attah and issued on Wednesday.
Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning and Chairman of the NCS Board, Zainab Ahmed, presided over the 52nd Regular meeting of the board where the decisions were taken.
The newly appointed Assistant Comptrollers General of Customs are Mohammed Boyi – Training and Coordination; Adewale Adeniyi – Commandant C&SC Gwagwalada; ACG, Jack Ajoku – Strategic Research and Policy; Olakunle Oyeleke – Doctrine, Development and Administration and Elton Edorhe – Zonal Coordinator, Zone ‘C.’
