Former OAP Daddy Freeze has described as ‘caveman mentality’ the urge to give testimony in church after surviving an accident that claimed lives.
Caveman mentality is a brain not optimised for today’s world.
A good illustration is ‘The idea that some people, often of an older with less technological generation, has that when a piece of technology such as a computer or television is not working, that hitting it as hard as one could and well as bashing the side of it will some how magically fix all the problems.’
The popular media personality argued testifying which would amount to greed and selfishness at the time wasn’t the right thing to do but mourning the deceased.
He wrote: “10 people lose their lives in a collapsed building and the one person who survives gives testimony? Really? This is NOT a testimony.
“Rather, it’s a manifestation of our innate caveman mentality built on the foundations of greed and selfishness testimony.
“Would the early churches in Antioch and Jerusalem have approached such a testimony? Instead, it should be a time of mourning for the lives lost.”
In another post, while captioning a video where he engaged some persons on the topic, the 46-year-old biracial assuredly noted “Giving testimony in church for surviving where others kpai is witchcraft.”
