•How Jumoke, “the bread-seller” walked into TY Bello’s photo-shoot
If a cartomancy had told Jumoke “The Bread Seller” that she would one day become a celebrated model, maybe she would have taken it with a pinch of salt because circumstances surrounding her contradict the fulfillment of it. But as you read, Jumoke, is on her way to stardom just because fate led her to hawk are agege bread to the right place at the right time, into the photographic shot of TY Bello. She has an inspirational story to write about if she would consider writing an autobiography.
A couple of days back, TY Bello released photos from her streetstyle shoot with Tinie Tempah and for most people, what stood out the most was the beautiful bread seller who was accidentally captured in one of the images.
We could’ve sworn she was a model from her graceful pose and the way she looked like she was actually a part of the shoot but no, she is not. It was just –in TY’s words- a perfect coincidence. She had been walking by, going about her daily business when she walked right into the shoot.
The ace photographer took to social media to indicate her interest in helping the girl build a portfolio for a modeling career and so the search for the beautiful bread girl began.
And she found her! The lady, a 27-year-old mother of two goes by the name, Jumoke Sunday. Here is what TY said about her: “So I found her …our beauty from the @tiniegram shoot and boy have I got a fantastic story to share with you all.
Right here is an amazing 27yr old mother of two, Jumoke Sunday with an incredible life story .I called on three amazing artist’s @bimpeonakoya for beautiful makeup. @zubbydefinition for hair and @emaedosio to make a short documentary about her. Every one gave a yes! on the spot . They were all at the studio within an hour and we had the most amazing shoot with her. I’ve also spoken to a few people about the best way to help move her forward and reunite her with her family. … The process has already begun and I’ll figure out the best way to have anyone who wants to be part of the journey .Meeting and photographing her has inspired us all and we can’t wait for the good that will come to her from all of this to unfold. She doesn’t speak English well but here, she was explaining how she found us. I had sent an assistant, as many of you advised, to leave a message with the people in the area where we photographed her… So here she is. Olajumoke #tybellophotography #findingjumoke #thebeginning”
