According to an eyewitness, Ibrahim Makama, the Governor had called for an Imam to lead prayers when the young man suddenly jumped out and volunteered to Pray.
The Governor asked; “are you an Imam? This is an act of indiscipline, I am calling the Imam to pray not you”.
The boy was then asked to kneel before getting arrested.

Reason why Nigeria will remain as it is. Imagine you ordering somebody to slap another very well. Isn’t that so crazy? Because you are a governor? You must be crazy and should be dealt with
Seriously? So the punishment should be beating and arrest? Why not just scold him and send him out?
A citizen of a state that his governing for that matter.

Pls how did you want the young man to be treated? This is impersonation and lack of respect. No matter how brilliant the young man is. The Governor called on Imam to pray, not the young man. This would serve as deterrent to others, the scene was not a political gathering, it has to do with an Imam.
