He reflected on the story from the Book of Exodus, where a mighty wind parted the Red Sea, enabling the Israelites to escape enslavement under Pharaoh.
However, after the Israelites had crossed, the same wind reversed, closing the sea and leading to the destruction of Pharaoh’s pursuing army.
According to him, “From the look of things and what I sense about the coming year, the wind is going to become even stronger. The wind opened a way in the Red Sea for the children of Israel, but it drowned Pharaoh’s army.”
Through this analogy, Adeboye conveyed that the coming year could bring significant shifts, urging his congregation to prepare for the potential challenges ahead while also recognizing the opportunities for liberation that such trials might present.
