Veteran Nollywood actor Obinna Nwafor popularly known as Saint Obi has vehemently denied that he bought a N48 million Mercedes Benz G-wagon a few months ago.
The movie director and producer debunked the rumour, saying he would rather keep investing and doing charity works than acquiring a vehicle worth that amount.
The actor described himself as a very selfless person who is ready to share his last his kobo with the needy. He stated in a recent interview with Encomium magazine that: “I believe that charity, just like being a fine person must start from inward; hence if you visit my village, UmuezealaezeAlaenyi, Ogwa in Mbaitoli LGA of Imo State, I have done my little bit to help my people but more importantly inspire a new vision”.
“Through the Grace of God Almighty, I was able to destroy two big shrines in my village, sunk boreholes, did road repairs, empower the young and old, etc”.
“My actions are not limited to my village; in the cities, I am also constantly preaching against the Osu syndrome, crime, poor morals, religious and ethnic bigotry, the need to for education, amongst others… it’s possible to change the world and Nigeria if we only try.”
He also added that he’s going fully into the music world, adding that he has started a record label and will be releasing fresh songs with two other guys from the group.
