The embassy also advised all applicants to ensure they certify that all information added to their D-160 visa application forms is correct before submission.

According to the US Mission attempt to omit vital information such as one’s social media accounts could lead to a visa denial.

It said, “Visa applicants are required to list all social media usernames or handles of every platform they have used from the last 5 years on the DS-160 visa application form.

Omitting social media information could lead to visa denial and ineligibility for future visas.
