• Bank’s MD, Herbert Wigwe, promises more laurels and the finest banking practice
Banking should never be sullied or strained; either it grows from a place of purpose and significance for the magnate, to invoke applause and emotional impact, or it is just another random business.
Access Bank Plc. is neither sullied nor strained hence it’s enviable capacity to be on song always. For the umpteenth time, Access Bank has commanded the applause of critical agencies. Like an indefatigable knight and conqueror of life’s greatest odds, the foremost banking institution has recorded yet another feat and a remarkable first by its recent win of the global Karlsruhe Sustainable Finance Award in Karlsruhe, Germany. By its win, Access Bank emerges as the first African recipient of the much coveted Outstanding Business Sustainability Achievement award in Germany.
Herbert Wigwe, the bank’s Managing Director (MD), was in attendance to receive the prize on behalf of the multiple award winning financial giant. He thanked the organizers for the honour and enthused that Access Bank can only do better as it is committed to the best banking practices and excellent corporate social responsibility principles.
