Victor Moses has revealed Cesar Azpilicueta is helping him thrive in his new role.
The 25-year-old has been a revelation after being converted to a wing-back by Antonio Conte.
Moses has started every game since Conte switched to a 3-4-3 formation, helping Chelsea win their last eight games on the spin.
He has been so impressive of late that he was named the PFA fans’ player of the month for November.
Despite not being a natural defender, Moses has improved that area of his game thanks to team-mate Azpilicueta, who is a natural right-back.
The Blues star told Sport Magazine, “He understands it more than I do, so he’s constantly talking to me, making sure that I’m in the right place and that really helps me.”
Chelsea signed Moses from Wigan in 2012 but he struggled to make his mark at Stamford Bridge.
Jose Mourinho loaned him to Liverpoool, Stoke and West Ham during his second spell in charge of the club.
Barcelona have been linked with a move for Moses but Chelsea are keen to tie him down to a new contract.
