Hon. Prince Sesi Oluwaseun Whingan, member of the House of Representatives from Badagry Federal Constituency, and His Royal Majesty, Oba Oladele Kosoko J.P., the Ogundeyi 1 of Iworo Kingdom, paid a visit to the Universal Basic Education Commission in Abuja on Friday, January 26th, 2024, to discuss the development of the ongoing construction of the Smart Model College sited in Iworo, Badagry.
The MHR, in the company of the royal father of Iworo Kingdom, Oba Kosoko, visited the UBEC and met with the commission’s Executive Secretary, Dr. Hamid Bobboyi, the Deputy E.S. (Technical), Prof. Bala Zakari, and Dr. Isiaka Kolawole, the Deputy E.S. (Services). Their discussion is a critical one to debate, complete, and address several concerns about the ongoing construction of the college, which is located in Iworo, Olorunda Local Council Development Area of Badagry Federal Constituency of Lagos State.
Recall that Hon. Sesi Whingan MHR, Engr. Adekunle Olayinka Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Works, Hon. Solomon Bonu, Member Lagos State House of Assembly, and Oba Kosoko had paid an inspection visit to the construction site of the smart school on October 23, 2023.
The school, when completed, would be the first-ever Smart Model College in the state
