Romano stated, “Chelsea could still be active in the market for an offensive player, even after the signings of Pedro Neto and Samu Omorodion.
“Osimhen is open to leaving, but he is not willing to reduce his salary or accept a direct loan.”
Romano also noted that Chelsea’s pursuit hinges on a shift in Osimhen’s stance or the conditions of the deal, especially as Napoli continues to push for Romelu Lukaku as part of any potential transfer.
The Nigeria international, who signed a new contract with Napoli in December, is valued at €130 million by the Italian club, making negotiations challenging for interested suitors.
