…See Who She Got Engaged To
Eventually, love conquers all. The social barometer is flailing wildly as you read. In twos and threes and more, it is being discussed in hushed tones that the celebrity blogger, Linda Ikeji, is getting married soon. According to the report doing the rounds, Linda is engaged to her ex-boyfriend who recently relocated to Nigeria from the US.
Though Linda is yet to confirm the story; her sister Sandra, however, confirmed the good news on her instagram handle today.
She wrote @sandra_Ikeji: Congratulations @officiallindaikeji So happy sweet sis! This tells me that sometimes the wait is worth it.
“Can’t wait to plan your special day @eventsbysi are you readyyyy #itsagetaway.
The news was also confirmed by another sister Laura, @lauraikeji who wrote, “Congrats Linlin @officiallindaikeji.”
Also, Nollywood actress, Toyin Aimakhu has already taken to Instagram to congratulate her.
She wrote; “Congratulations to our very own Linda Ikeji for ticking one of the important boxes every woman has piled up on her list; as she got engaged to her heartthrob!
I can’t wait to fill my tummy up with the rice o, so don’t keep us waiting too long… We just can’t wait!!!NB:FAM I’m next”
The 37 year old has been under pressure from fans to get married, including memes linking her to Don Jazzy, MAVINS record boss.
The popular blogger epitomizes the perfect role model for Nigeria’s teeming bloggers and social media entrepreneurs. Having paid her dues over a time span that saw her pushing through intimidating economic, social and political realities to carve her niche in a media industry severely pitted to thwart the chances of the itinerant blogger and citizen journalist to progress, it is understandable and only justifiable that Linda encounter success for her hard work.
The Africa’s preeminent blogger is a role model to millions of African youths; an opinion moulder and a full-fledged media mogulette. Linda lives the dream today and is deploying her resources into helping young ladies believe in themselves and their dreams without spending time on their backs. All’s well that ends well…
