Details available to societynow.ng revealed that the schools concerned have set up online platforms where reading where interaction between students and teachers will take place within dedicated hours.
Access to the platforms is through passwords generated after the payment of school fees societynow.ng learned.
Details available revealed the resumption is for the third term of the 2019/2020 Academic Session.
” The plan is for the remaining of the disrupted second term to be quickly done with and the third term kick-started in the bid to align with the school calendar for the year” societynow.ng learned.
The state government in places like Lagos and Ogun shut down schools and other high-density areas to save lives by preventing the spread of the dreaded Covid-19.
“The catch, however, is that without payment of school fee, or at least 50% of it in places where concession have been made, a student can not access the platform and naturally denied resumption” a source pointed out.
The checks made by societynow.ng, however, revealed that there is no such or relative initiatives to care for students of the public schools.
