Former minister and 2105 Presidential campaign spokesperson, Femi Fani-Kayode, will not be released from the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) today.
Our sources said that the anti-corruption agency on Tuesday in Abuja obtained a court order to keep Mr. Fani-Kayode in custody to conclude investigations on several fraud cases concerning him before he is charged to court.
One of those cases, we further learnt, involves the Lagos office of the EFCC. Details are not yet available.
Operatives of the agency said Mr. Fani-Kayode will be transferred to Lagos to face investigators there as soon as possible.
