Recently, she was delivered of a bouncing baby girl. The ELITES gathered that, Toyin was delivered of her daughter in December 2015, in a highbrow hospital in Lagos.
The baby is Toyin’s first, just two years after she got married to Debo Collins, the debonair businessman and politician. Before her marriage to Collins, Toyin was married to Tayo Alakiu, the veteran socialite and party-loving Big Boy. The marriage, which lasted over two decades did not produce any child. However, during the ill-fated union, Alakiu fathered four children from three women – a daughter from Blessing Egbarin, a daughter from Nike Shittu and a son and a daughter from Kehinde Alakiu.
Predictably, since the news of the baby’s arrival broke out, friends and family members of the Collins have been swarming their home with phone calls and visits. Moreover, it is gathered that the new father, Debo Collins, is beside himself with joy over the arrival of the latest addition to his family.
The ELITES exclusively gathered that Toyin, who celebrated her 50th birthday last August, had taken in, few months after she got married to Debo Collins, but she suffered a miscarriage after some months. Invariably, last year, when she discovered that she was pregnant again, Toyin thought it would be best to take things very easy.
Sources disclosed to The ELITES that Toyin kept her pregnancy from the public and went low-profile. She practically shunned public outing during her second trimester. Invariably, only very few close friends were aware of her pregnancy.
Since 2013, when she got married to Debo Collins, Toyin’s life has become so exciting, and she couldn’t have wished for a more blissful life. An aesthetic expert by training, Toyin runs Fresh Look, a multi-purpose beauty palour. The outfit used to be situated on Allen Avenue, Ikeja, was recently relocated to Joel Ogunaike, Ikeja GRA.
As a beauty and skin care specialist, Toyin has always proved that she is on top of her game. She is well versed in setting the pace for others to follow. In a sector, which has been proliferated by many mediocre, Toyin has refused to be dusted into the league of the has-been. She is always coming up with various creative ideas, which have helped to place her business in the league of the best.
