In driving the current administration in a positive and acceptable way, President Bola Tinubu is under intense pressure to relieve some underperforming ministers while a list of new names is already on the cards.
According to a source from the presidency, revealed to ThePAPERS in confidence on Sunday night that President Tinubu is not happy with the performance of some ministers as Nigeria inflation continues to increase beyond expectations.

Asking the numbers of ministers to be affected, the source revealed: ” For now, 10 ministers are on the list but I want to believe there could be more because things are not yielding positively the way the president wants and for now only few ministers can guarantee their places.”
Disclosing more about the possibility of reinstating suspended minister of Humanitarian and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu, the source emphatically stated that Edu has become history in Tinubu’s list, that the president is not looking towards any controversial appointment as Nigerians are hungry.
“Betta Edu is not coming back as minister in this administration again, she’s not in any contention to return, her case is still under investigation and the president is looking for urgent solutions to ease Nigerians hunger and living. So, there’s no move to bring back Betta,” the source concluded.
