Edo Unfiltered! I’m your host, Osigwe Omo-Ikirodah, Chairman and CEO of Bush Radio Academy, where we tell it like it is – no filters, no holding back! Let’s get to the crux of the matter. How did Obaseki think he could win votes while threatening the people, declaring the election a ‘do-or-die’ affair? And then came the rain – it wasn’t just rain; it was like the heavens were weeping over Obaseki’s failed administration! On a day when voters needed motivation, they were instead confronted with flooded streets, like the River Nile flowing through Benin. Who would brave such conditions to vote for a leader who couldn’t even address basic infrastructure issues like drainage? With their homes and streets underwater, the people had no choice but to abandon any hope of supporting Obaseki.
