Public commentator Isaac Fayose believes that the ruling party All Progressives Congress (APC) cannot take over Oyo and Osun states, unlike their successes in other southern states during recent off-cycle elections.
His commment follow National Chairman of the APC, Abdullahi Umah Ganduje’s, statement expressing the party’s ambition to capture these two states in upcoming governorship elections. This aspiration is inspired following the victory of Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the incumbent governor and APC candidate in the Ondo elections.
