Hilda Baci, the Nigerian chef, has been dethroned as the individual with the world’s longest cooking marathon record.
The Guinness World Records (GWR) announced Alan Fisher, the Irish-born owner and chef of a restaurant in Japan, as the new record holder on Tuesday.

Fisher, who is from Ireland, was said to have broken two cooking-related GWR titles.
He secured the longest cooking marathon (individual) after clocking in a time of 119 hours 57 minutes.
He thereafter claimed the longest baking marathon (individual), with a time of 47 hours 21 minutes, beating the previous record holder — Wendy Sandner (USA) — with a time of 31 hours 16 minutes.
