This is not the best of time for Folake Thomas, the daughter of late Police I.G and Ibadan high society babe as her much celebrated marriage to her estranged US based husband, Alhaji Odeyale hits the rock.
It was gathered that Odeyale abandoned Folake in their rented apartment in Maryland and has since gone back to reconcile with his former wife; leaving Folake with no option than to move out of the apartment at the expiration of rent, to a smaller two-bedroom apartment also in Maryland, USA.
Folake and Alhaji Odeyale’s marriage break-up we also learnt bordered on issues that had to do with infidelity, lies and other accusations from both sides. According to our source, Alhaji Odeyale was said to have accused Folake of being promiscuous and fetish, which probably explains why Alhaji left his very sick wife to marry Folake.
While Folake on the other hand was said to have confide in some people that her estranged husband is a pathological liar. Their break-up leaked to the public like a bad rumor some weeks back, but became a reality last week when Folake reverted to her former names on social media.
Before now, she was known and addressed as Folake Khadijat Odeyale on her social networks. But she has since changed it to Folake Khadija Thomas.
It will be recalled that Folake and Alhaji Odeyale formalized their union sometime in 2013. It was a grand event as the engagement took place in Ibadan and the major ceremony was held at Lekki area of Lagos State.
Folake thereafter relocated to U.S to join her husband. The marriage produced a lovely baby boy. While the marriage lasted, the union witnessed so many dramas as those in the know claimed Folake and her estranged husband were living a fake lifestyle In U.S, against what they made people outside to believe.
No thanks to Folake’s make-believe millionaires’ wife status on her social media networks. If she is not showing off her expensive clothes, then it will be gold or high rated vacation areas in America or Europe.
It was also revealed that Folake and her husband at time tricked visitors from Nigeria into squatting with them but extorting funds from their victims. It became so bad that there was a time Folake’s mum was dragged into their mess.
Police operative were said to have stormed Mrs. Thomas’ residence in Ibadan, in a connection with a fraud-related issue that involved her son-in-law, Alhaji Odelaye. It was insinuated that some money was paid into her account by Alhaji.
According to the source, she had to come down to Nigeria from America to clear herself. Aftermath of the event what we gathered was not pleasant as Alhaji sent Folake’s mum out of their house in America instead of apologizing.
However, as it is clear that Alhaji Odeyale has moved on with his life and reconciled with his former wife, Folake too seems to have moved on. Some unconfirmed report has it that she is presently in a hot romance with one NURTW top shot, Koko Saria, said to be M.C Oluomo’s second in command.
Folake’s freshly crashed marriage was contracted after she broke up with her former hubby, a member of the Celestial Church of Christ, whom she also had a daughter for.
