In Adaobi Nwakuche, everybody sees ravishing beauty and then they ask for her name. Her smile is addictive, like the liquid courage that frees male inhibitions and lets a rat sing poetry to a hummingbird. Indeed, there are many ways to describe this ebony-hued lady.
You could choose to describe her using qualities that project perseverance, hard work and determination or you could address her as a woman with infectious depth and specialisation. No matter what life casts her way, Nwakuche will always find a way to remain on top of her game.
A top Insurance expert, no doubt, Nwakuche began her career in insurance as a corper in 1997, when she served at Otega Emerhor’s Standard Alliance. She was offered immediate appointment after her service year and rose to become the Group Head, General Business. She later moved on to Dere Otubu’s Staco Insurance, where she was a deputy director before moving to Equity as Executive Director.
Indeed, Nwakuche has been around for quite a while. Whether at work or at play, she applies herself diligently like one who understands that the best prize life offers is the chance to work hard and excel at what is worth doing well.
Spurred by the untiring passion to assert herself and establish her ingenuity at work, Nwakuche has won many souls over and has had even her most ardent critics eating out of her palms.
Beautiful in an exotic, utterly understated way, Nwakuche exudes vigor, sexuality, drama, fortitude, and happiness. She worked hard to attain her current status
Nwakuche has joined the miracle-working banker, Tony Elumelu’s new Heir Insurance Company as the Acting Managing Director. Heirs Holdings (HH) announced the Group’s transformative insurance industry play, with the launch of Heirs Insurance Limited (HIL) and Heirs Life Assurance (HLA), on Tuesday, at the companies’ Victoria Island headquarters in Lagos.
At the launch, the companies announced a series of product innovations, including a web portal enabling customers to get an insurance quote in minutes and receive claims settlement in less than 24 hours, from their mobile devices.
Interestingly, however, you couldn’t have forgotten so soon when Nwakuche hosted a grand ceremony to commemorate her wedding to Fred Nwaeme. Even though things went awry between her and Fred not long after they got married, she has not allowed it to affect her socialising manners. According to a source, initially, when Adaobi talked, Fred listened attentively, and when Fred talked, Adaobi listened, but later, when they both talked, their neighbours listened with rapt attention. They both went their separate ways. That was a long time ago.
Last month, Nwakuche had a dedication ceremony for her set of twins. The elaborate event, which paraded top politicians, respected technocrats, society big wigs and captains of industry, saw the guests shuffle and nod to the liveliest and most delightful musical tunes. As the guests thrilled to delightful music, their hair stood on end and they tipped over in merriment – their joy spilling from their souls into the air and sky high into the blue firmament.
