They sometimes leave the comfort of their palace to make friends and allies with other kings so that such kingdom will not become a threat to them in future.
No doubt, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye started a trend of visiting his fellow Obas in other kingdoms to make friends with them, now other rulers have picked up the pace.
According to report, the recently crowned Olu of Warri, HRH OgiameIkenwolimade history as the first King of Warri to visit the Akugbene Mein Kingdom and the Ovie of Ugheli Kingdom in Delta State.
It was gathered that not Itsekiri King has ever visited both Kingdoms, but HRH, Ogiame broke the jinx as he becomes the first Olu of Warri to embark on such mission to strength the relationship between the kingdoms.
His royal entourage includes his traditional chiefs and other dignitaries which also includes billionaire business man, AyiriEmami, who is also an Itsekiri Chief.
Many have commended his gesture and has regarded the examples set out by the Ooni of Ife as a good steps to emulate and a good leader to follow.
