November 15, 2020 was the D-Day for the Congress of up-and-up folks at the behest of celebrity journalist and style person, Kayode Olanshile Alfred.
As expected, people of sky-reaching timber and caliber were on ground to kick off the grand opening of Alfred’s latest three-parts enterprise: Aristocrat Flagship store, Aristocrat Institute, and a laundry and drycleaning service company.
Held at Heart Omole Phase 1 Estate, Ojodu, Lagos, the event was a meeting point for pillars of the Nigerian fashion industry, and those who might be referred to as the biggest, most influential friends of style and clothing.
From the most convivial fellow to the most reclusive and crowd-shy, folks came in droves to honour Alfred’s invitation, and launch his Aristocrat Flagship store.
Among those who were present are the Chief Press Sectary to Lagos State Governor, Gboyega Akosile; Prince Layinka Oyedeji; Special Adviser to Governor Sanwo-Olu on Millennium Goals, Lekan Fatodu; aides to Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun: Akogun Lanre and Lara Alfred; Chairman of St. Ives Clinic and WFM Radio station, Dr Babatunde Okewale; Chairman of Retro Construction, Otunba Lekan Osifeso; Nollywood movie producer and star maker, Kunle Afolayan; and Manager for Media Strategy, Planning and Buying at Globacom, Yinka Femi Opadere; Seun Oloketuyi and Kunle Ajayi.
Also present were Abiodun Oshinibosi , Deji Orunkoyi, Gbenga Oketade and Azuh Arinze.
Celebrity journalists like Kayode Alfred were also present, as well as Publishers, Mayor Akinpelu (of Global Excellence Magazine), and Seye Kehinde (of City People).
Others included Hon. Lekan Fatodu, Hon. Steve Ayorinde, Abisoye Fagade, Biodun Kupoluyi, , Kemi Akinyemi, Hon. Deji Ogunsakin, Amin Garuba, Akintoba Fatigun, Seyi Chicago, Kanbi Owolabi, Deji Ibitayo, Omotalabi, Victor Ganzallo, Seun Oloketuyi, Funsho Arogundade, Habbib Haruna, Ayobami Ladipo , Abiola Alfred ,Jaiye Israel Opayemi, Otunba Femi Davies, Tunji Oke, Shina Oyetayo, Sola Oyekanmi, Teju Ajayi, Bode Ibesanmi, Adebola Latifah Adeyemi, Abiola Aloba, Kokun Foundation , Tope Kazeem Lawal, Mariam Musa, and several more.
All these folks were given a warm welcome, special prayer and address by Kayode Alfred, Aristocrat’s MD, and chaperoned by the Master of ceremony, Gbenga Adeyinka.
All in all, the turnout was incredible, and proof of the width of Alfred’s (and Aristocrat’s) style credibility.
