Nobody will forget in a hurry, the day Fidelity Bank chief, Nnamdi Okonkwo, became a spectacle as his company treated clients and associates to a feast. The Bank held its end of year party last Friday, 8 December, 2017. The event was held at the Eko Hotel Convention Center, Victoria Island, Lagos.
It was indeed a classy event. Adorned in the most exquisite finery, the carefully selected guests walked into the venue and the waiting arms of very pretty ushers who led them to their appointed seats smilingly. At the event, every guest was treated like royalty.
The sheer modishness of the venue which was gracefully spruced-up by magnificent chandeliers further emphasized the degree of attentiveness to detail and diligence that went into its preparation. Every guest was given the royalty treatment. All thanks to the Management of the bank.
However, as Fidelity Bank grooved to its end of the year party, Nnamdi mounted the stage to give a speech and later launched into a homily and romantic treatise about the beauty and depth of his ravishing wife, Uche. It was their wedding anniversary that day.
Okonkwo seized the moment to serenade his beautiful wife on stage with the popular artiste, Flavour’s beautiful songs. With unrestrained fervour, Nnamdi unclothed his wife’s uncommon virtues and dressed her in a garment of love and enameled praise.
Predictably, the bank chief’s show of love drew his wife close to tears. She never envisaged
such rare display of love from her heartthrob. The passion she experienced from her husband was what scholars and classical romantics imbued with eternal fervour of timeless truths and poetics.
Dignitaries at the event which held at the Eko Hotel and Suites, marveled at the romantic display of love by the bank chief; men quietly took notes about how to treat and celebrate the women in their lives and several women at the event silently prayed that they encounter such rare display of love towards them from their husbands and sweethearts.
