Air Peace, a renowned Nigerian airline, has named its aircraft after their CEO’s wife Ojochide. The word “Ojochide” is derived from the Igala language, spoken by the Igala people of Kogi State, Nigeria. In Igala, “Ojochide” means “God is my guardian or protector.”

The CEO of Airpeace, Allen Onyema, hails from Anambra State, while his wife Alice Ojochida is from the Igala community in Kogi State. Their union symbolizes the coming together of different cultures and backgrounds.
