APC stalwart, Chief Hon. Monday Eleanya who recently decamped to APC has been shot dead along Ada George road, Port Harcourt
The former member of Rivers State House of Assembly, Monday Eleanya, was yesterday, shot dead by gunmen few months after he dumped the PDP for the APC.
It was gathered that he was driving in his SUV when the gunmen opened fire on him, killing him on the spot along Ada George Road in Port Harcourt.
The former lawmaker was a member of the Fifth Assembly when former Governor Amaechi was speaker.
Eleanya, who represented Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Constituency, was said to be a committed member of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
Fondly called World Bank, some of his colleagues described his death as shocking.
