Lagos will throb and the city’s coastlines would heave with rumblings of an unprecedented epic celebration on the day Senate President, Bukola Saraki and his darling wife, Toyin, marry off their daughter, Oluwatosin, to her fiancée, Adeniyi Olatunde Olukoya, the son of Omooba Tokunbo Olukoya.
To make her day a memorable one, the happy parents, plan big for their daughter and her man. The event is set to take place on October 28th Lagos. Bukola is certainly leaving no stone unturned to host a super wedding ceremony for his daughter.
Tosin is the first of the four children of Bukola and Toyin. She clocked 25 last December. While her father wanted a glamorous destination wedding, Tosin has reportedly kicked, preferring to have it in Nigeria. She might have had her way on the choice of location, the young lady would have no say, given the background of her parents and grandparents, in the grandness of the wedding.
Tosin’s mother, Toyin, is the daughter of boardroom guru and businessman of note, Otunba Adekunle and Erelu Ojuolape Ojora. For the past six decades, the Ojoras have been a looming and respected fixture on Nigeria’s high society. And they are not retired from attending or throwing parties that remain indelible. Tosin’s father is Bukola, the silverspoon son of Oloye Olusola Saraki, former Senate Leader in the Second Republic, and until his death, the deciding factor in Kwara State politics.
Also a two-term governor of Kwara State, Bukola is the third most powerful politician in today’s Nigeria. However, not a few people have been jostling to lay their hands on a copy of the invite, but unfortunately, it would be easier to embark on a round-trip through the Bermuda triangle than to get the invitation card. That is how scarce and exclusive her party would be.
