An adultery scandal is currently rocking the young family of Nigerian international footballer, Kayode Olanrewaju.
The footballer is accusing his wife, Ezinne Dora Kayode, of fraud, adultery, and abduction of their children to an unknown destination, according to PM News.
The footballer is alleging that his wife hid the fact that she was seven years older than him at the time they met, and that he only found this out long after their well-celebrated wedding.
It was reported that one Yetunde Burstline, an associate of controversial figures Daddy Freeze and Taste Bud, introduced Ezinne to pastor Tobi Adegboyega.
The aggrieved husband is also accusing his wife of having sexual relations with Adegboyega and would live her matrimonial home for extended periods to engage in orgies with the said cleric.
He further accused Ezinne of stealing two Mercedes SUVs from him to finance the lavish lifestyle of Adegboyega and his associates.
In addition, he claimed that she conspired with realtor Ugochukwu Igboanugo and accomplices Jennifer Max Nduaguibe and Lynda Dike Anulika to transfer property ownership from him, Olarewaju to herself.
Then on Sunday, the 24th of March, Ezinne allegedly abducted their three children from home and their whereabouts remained unknown.
He said despite numerous complaints and petitions to law enforcement, including the Nigerian Police FCID Alagbon under AIG Idowu Omohunwa, efforts to recover the stolen vehicles, properties, and abducted children had been futile.
Olanrewaju also accused his estranged wife of falsely parading herself as a lawyer and attempting to manipulate OC SARS, Abuja, and DSS personnel to coerce him into relinquishing his property or face harm.
Olarewaju claimed that the situation had put him in severe distress, making him attempt suicide twice.
He claimed to have also terminated his football contract out of fear for his life amid death threats from unknown individuals, including those within law enforcement circles.
But Adegboyega, the founder of Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church (SPAC Nation), said he “was too busy to listen to lies” and “focused on raising people from difficult backgrounds to greatness”.
In 2022, the UK government shut down Adegboyega’s church over fraud allegations.
It said SPAC failed to account for more than £1.87 million in expenditure and operated with non-transparency.
