Bode George, a former military Governor of Ondo State and a prominent figure within the PDP, has responded to allegations of anti-party activities leveled against him by a group of disgruntled Lagos PDP candidates from the 2023 elections. Led by Segun Adewale, a former Senatorial Candidate, the group accused George and other party leaders of undermining PDP candidates during the previous general election and called for their expulsion from the party.
In a recent video shared on YouTube by Channels TV, George vehemently denied the allegations, stating that he would handle the situation differently if he were still in the military. He dismissed Adewole’s statements as “rubbish” and stressed the importance of adhering to the party’s principles. According to George, Adewole and his group do not embody the true values established by the founders of the party.
He said: “If it was when I was in the military I know what I would do to him, he is talking rubbish. Who went to Abuja to collect money from who, he is talking trash”.
