Amid sustained economic turmoil and civil unrest within the nation, Venerable Superior Evangelist James Aso, the shepherd in charge of the Celestial Church of Christ, Liberation Parish in Lagos, conducted a special prayer session aimed at seeking a peaceful resolution for Nigeria and its current government.
During the gathering, Shepherd Aso led the congregation in prayers for the restoration of peace and harmony in Nigeria, regardless of the prevailing economic challenges. The popular cleric urged the members of the congregation to pray for the revival of Nigeria’s former greatness and to seek integrity and righteousness to be reflected in the conduct of leaders across the nation. The cleric emphasized that through these values, Nigeria could attain a state of enduring peace and prosperity.
The congregation proceeded to pray for an abundance of blessings that would transform hardship into a surplus of food, ultimately eradicating hunger in the land.
“Nigeria shall experience peace in Jesus name, every panic of unrest all over the country is a storm and by the authority of Papa Oshoffa, I decree that every storm disturbing this country shall stop now. From today, there shall be restoration of glory in the country, God in His grace shall dwell among the leaders to get it right and lead us well in Jesus name,” Aso prayed.
