It is unimaginable the level of decadence in the society that royal fathers who are traditionally assumed to be guarded by invisible ancestral spirits have become targeted preys to ritualists and kidnappers. As you read, many of the royal fathers in Delta state are not sleeping with both eyes closed, and those that can afford sophisticated security apparatuses have opted for them just to ensure their safety.

Whatever that has become a threat to the society always has its first victim, and in the case of Ubulu-Uku Kingdom in Aniocha North Local Government of Delta state, it is its royal father, HRM Obi Akaeze Ofolue III, who was recently kidnapped and consequently sent to his early grave by yet-to-be-identified kidnappers.

But the people of Ubulu-Alu community are not taking the death of their royal father with a pinch of salt. They have already begun the traditional process of fishing out the perpetrators of the evil act.

Also, the Delta state police force have promised to conduct through investigation over the death of the royal father and bring his killers to book.
