68-Year-Old Woman Gives Birth In Ogun After Years Of Infertility

A 68-year-old woman, Alhaja Kehinde Sofiat Adekunli has given birth to a bouncing baby boy at Iya Mayowa hospital at housing Olomore in Ogun State.

An APC ward exco in Abeokuta south local government, Hon. Kafayat Afolake disclosed this to our correspondent, Osoba Olajide this morning.

It was gathered that the woman has been experiencing infertility for years.

Mrs Adekunli while speaking with newsmen appreciated God for the bundle of joy.

She added that her self and her husband had been optimistic that God would give them a child.

“When someone is looking for fruit of the womb, the person will be moving from one hospital or gynecologist to another, undergoing series of gynecological investigations and treatments,” she said.

Mrs Adekunli said that all through the years she was looking for a child, she had strong faith in God.
