And the Manchester City striker opted for Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney and Chelsea legend Didier Drogba.
His choices might raise some eyebrows at the Etihad with the 20-year-old picking players from rival clubs.
“I think I was watching Didier Drogba and his team at Chelsea, and Wayne Rooney at Manchester United as well,” Iheanacho said.
“They are both players that I am looking up to as well, but to pick it up and put in my football as well in the Premier League.”
Iheanacho has struggled for first-team football this season with Sergio Aguero very much first-choice under Pep Guardiola.
The Nigerian has made 14 appearances in the Premier League, netting four times and providing three assists.
City return to action this weekend in the top flight when they travel to Everton on Saturday lunchtime.
They will be looking to close the gap on Chelsea who sit seven points clear of them at the top of the table.
Meanwhile, Manchester City and Manchester United could go head-to-head to sign Juventus hotshot Paulo Dybala.
The talented forward has been attracting interest from Europe’s biggest clubs having scored four goals in nine starts this season adding to the 19 he bagged in Serie A last campaign.
But Juventus remain confident they will keep Dybala at the club as he is under contract at the Old Lady until 2020.
The Italian champions signed the Argentine striker for £23.4m in the summer of 2015 but is it believed Juve wouldn’t consider offers of anything under £50m for their key asset.
