Celebrated television personality and CEO of Ebony Life TV, Mo Abudu, has been appointed tochair the 47th International Emmy Awards Gala that celebrates extraordinary television producers from all over the globe. The announcement was made on the verified Instagram page of the EMMYs; @iemmys, this afternoon.
The awards gala holds at the Hilton Hotel, New York City, November 25. Described as the Oscar Awards for television, each year, the leading television producers from around the world showcase their programming and compete to be recognized at the prestigious International Emmy Awards Gala in New York City. Over 1, 000 international broadcasting, production and distribution executives convene to celebrate the best in global television.
Responding to her appointment, Abudu states, “I would like to thank the International Emmy Awards for this honour and opportunity…As producers, we are in a unique position to share fresh, authentic, and original stories with a global audience. Our content is not limited by language or culture.
