This state-of-the-art medical facility, valued at N500 million ($0.32 million), represents an unprecedented donation to the NCS.

Comptroller General of the Nigerian Customs Service, Adewale Adeniyi, expressed profound gratitude to Abdul Samad Rabiu, Chairman of ASR Africa and BUA Group, one of Africa’s fastest-growing manufacturing and industrial conglomerates.

Adeniyi emphasized his commitment to deploying adequate medical personnel upon the hospital’s completion.

ASR Africa’s Managing Director, Ubon Udoh, reiterated Rabiu’s dedication to fulfilling pledges made to Nigerian security agencies. He confirmed the ongoing engagement with all grant beneficiaries to ensure project implementation aligns with their specific needs and commended the NCS leadership for partnering with ASR Africa on this initiative.

ASR Africa’s swift impact
Established in 2021 by Rabiu, ASR Africa has quickly gained recognition for its impactful philanthropic efforts. The initiative prioritizes investments in education, healthcare, and social development to drive sustainable change across Africa.

This hospital construction follows Rabiu’s December 2022 announcement of a N10 billion ($6.49 million) grant aimed at bolstering Nigeria’s security infrastructure. The Security Sector Support Grant also benefits the Nigerian Navy, Air Force, Army, and various paramilitary organizations.

Recently, ASR Africa commenced construction of a world-class research laboratory for the Federal University Lokoja in Kogi State, demonstrating the initiative’s diverse range of projects.
