In a new twist, Lookman, has named his best friends within the Nigerian national team and Osimhen’s name is far away from the two great friends in the national team.
FIFA only approved the 27-year-old’s international switch in 2021 but has risen to become one of the key members of the Super Eagles.
He played an important role in Nigeria’s run to the final of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations at the start of this year.
Lookman scored twice in the last-16 win over Cameroon and then the winner against Angola in the quarter-finals.
When asked about his close friends in the team, he told ESPN: “I got a few. But I’d probably say the ‘innit’ boys.
