Shame! Former Governor, Suswam kicked out of govt property

Former Governor Gabriel Suswam of Benue State is alleged to be one of the highly corrupt governors in the immediate past administration.
Due to this, he has constantly been under attack and pressure from the seating governor, Samuel Ortom who has vowed to unearth all the dirty deals of the former governor.
It would be recalled that the former governor was once interrogated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, over the misappropriation of some funds and was allegedly involved in wife battery in the United Kingdom, where a distress call was placed by his wife, Yemisi.
In a more recent development, the former Governor has been ordered by Benue State to vacate and return state properties he acquired while he was in office.
The said property currently serves as a guest house for the former governor. According to report making the rounds, suswam has been stripped of a property belonging to the state, which he allegedly acquired fraudulently.
However a revocation letter has been issued to the former governor by the tate’s Head of Service, Mr. AdaikwuInwata, titled: “Notice of revocation of sub-lease on property number GP 415 Atom Kpera Lodge, Makurdi.’’
The letter reads: “Please refer to our letter of May 21, 2007, in which we conveyed to you the offer of sub-lease of property GP 415 Atom Kpera Lodge.
“This is to inform you that Benue State Executive Council on November 11, 2015, reference BEC 10(2015), deliberated on the purchase of the said property.
“It discovered that there were fundamental irregularities in the process that led to the transaction which amounts to abuse of power and approved that notice of revocation be served on you through my office.
“Take notice that on the strength of the foregoing, the sub-lease to you by Benue State government of Atom Kpera Lodge is, hereby, revoked and you are to deliver vacant possession of the said property to my office without further delay.
