It’s often said that the death of a family member or a close friend always burrows a hole in one’s heart which takes a very long time to heal. How much more if it was the death of a wife? This is the life time wound that has been inflicted on Chief Bisi Akande, who lost his loving wife, early this morning at the University College Hospital in Ibadan. She was aged 73.

He is very depressed at the moments, more especially over the yet-to-be-unravelled course of his wife’s illness that eventually snuffed life out her. Friends, relatives and associates have been thronging his home to pay him condolence visits and offer consolatory advices.
