Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has sent a birthday message to former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, describing him as “a man of intellect, courage, and uncommon sagacity.”

In a message shared on his X handle, Abubakar acknowledged El-Rufai’s contributions to public service, noting that “even amid the present political persecution and needless distractions, his record of service and clarity of thought and purpose remain undeniable.”

The former vice president prayed for the former governor’s continued well-being, wishing him “strength, peace, and Allah’s guidance in the years ahead.”

El-Rufai, who served as the Governor of Kaduna State from 2015 to 2023, remains a prominent figure in national politics, often drawing attention for his policies and political commentary.
