Today, the ADC has 28 senators, over 46 House of Representatives members, and more than 50 lawmakers across State Assemblies

The Founder and pioneer National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Ralph Nwosu, has declared that the party now have 28 senators, 46 Reps members and over 100 elected officials, including members of the National and State Assemblies.

Nwosu made the revelation during the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting in Abuja on Tuesday. …CONTINUE READING

According to him, the party’s growing political strength is due to its consistent rejection of financial inducements aimed at weakening its opposition stance.

“We stood our ground against offers both at home and abroad. While some politicians believe everything can be bought, we said no. The ADC refused to be compromised,” he stated

He added that, “The result of our integrity is clear. Today, the ADC has 28 senators, over 46 House of Representatives members, and more than 50 lawmakers across State Assemblies. We now have over 100 elected persons—and we’re still growing.”

Nwosu said the party’s membership has surged nationwide, with online registration platforms overwhelmed by the interest of young Nigerians. He emphasised that the ADC’s refusal to join the push for a one-party state has earned it nationwide respect.

Meanwhile, the party’s Interim National Chairman, David Mark, thanked members for their confidence and pledged to lead with transparency, discipline, and inclusiveness.

He announced reforms to deepen internal democracy, empower grassroots structures, and ensure 35% female representation and significant youth inclusion. Mark also unveiled plans to inaugurate a 50-member Policy Committee to guide the party’s vision across key sectors including health, education, security, and infrastructure.
