Protesters have set the gatehouse of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) in Kano State ablaze.

The protesters, who are participating in the nationwide #EndBadGovernance protests, are demanding an end to the dire economic situation in the country

Also, the ongoing protest against hunger and bad governance in Bauchi State took a violent turn in the early hours of today when police fired teargas to disperse demonstrators gathered in front of the Emir of Bauchi’s palace. …CONTINUE READING

BREAKING: Protesters Set NCC Gatehouse Ablaze in Kano, Youths Vow to Storm Emir’s Palace in Bauchi [VIDEO]

The development was disclosed by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Information and Strategy, via his official X account.

The protesters, who were demanding an audience with the Emir to express their grievances, were met with a police barricade.

This led to a tense standoff between the security operatives and the youths who insisted on seeing the emir.
