It has been revealed that more than N 6 billion was shared among some top ‘men of God’ during the last presidential election campaign. Former president Goodluck Jonathan visited some top Pastors in the country as he tried to boost his chances of winning the election.

During these visits, the President, in collaboration with some top officials of Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, doled out huge amount of money to these Pastors for them convince their church members to vote for the former president.

According to a reliable source, TheCapital can confirm that President Buhari is strategizing on how to recover the looted funds that went into the pockets of these ‘men of God’. The source close to the presidency also revealed to TheCapital that some of these Pastors have already started returning their own share of the loot while many are adamant. The adamant ones are saying that the money was given to the church as offerings and tithes.
