Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser on Policy Communication to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has reacted to the three ministerial slots allegation

Legit recalls that Nwosu said he was promised three ministerial slots in 2027 if he refused to surrender his party to the coalition.

The presidential aide gave three facts to debunk Nwosu’s allegation, describing him as a “disorganised character” …CONTINUE READING

Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser on Policy Communication to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, said the former National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Ralph Nwosu, lied about being offered three ministerial slots.

Bwala said no senior government official can promise a ministerial slot except President Tinubu.

The Presidential aide said Nwosu said he should mention the names and positions in the senior government.

He stated this via his X handle @BwalaDaniel on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. He accused Nwosu of “graduating to association of jesters or Association of Disorganised Characters”

From his words as reported, you know that he lied that senior government officials of the @officialABAT administration promised him 3 ministerial slots to not surrender his party to the coalition for a wild goose chase.

FACTS
1. No government official(s) of whatever rank in our government can promise or grant ministerial slots but Mr President.

2. If a promise of ministerial slots would be made to Mr Nwosu, it would be made by the president and to him directly.

3. The same courage he mustered saying he was promised slots by the officials could have been used in mentioning their names and positions in this government.

They are painfully graduating to association of jesters or Association of Disorganised Characters.

Nigerians react to ADC Nwosu’s ministerial slots allegation

@Naijatvv Those who know Mr. Nwosu are well aware that lying is one of his favorite pastimes. A man who took money to sell out his party to the highest bidder is now claiming he was offered a ministerial slot. Wonders shall never end in Nigerian politics. These guys really think everyone is as gullible as their supporters.

@Ericochidex1 It’s true, if not true you won’t be ranting like this, the coalition wanted to register New patty ADA and your government frustrated it, them take you by surprise, Tinubu government come for state capturing, Tinubu don’t want competition.

@v_ogbunugafor The President can delegate the responsibility of negotiation to a senior member of his cabinet, he doesn’t necessarily needs to establish physical contact with Mr Nwosu, you are in Government and into politics, you should know better.

@oluwaseun_ajede The fact that Bola didn’t send an irrelevant domestic staff doesn’t necessarily mean Nwosu’s claim is untrue.
