There are greater storms in politics than can be ever found at sea. Piracy, mutiny, broadsides, subterfuge and blood on the deck—you will find them all in politics. These vagaries of chaos and ill will currently ravage the political class even as you read. In reaction to Sanusi’s interview with PBS News Hour on the jail terms for Diezani and the corrupt practices that trailed the previous administration. The former minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has again responded to the Emir.
According to Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi

“In Nigeria, there is no accountability at all and that is why I think Nigeria’s corruption is worse than corruption in most parts of the world. It is the worst type of corruption. It’s stealing “Frankly, I think a billion dollars under Jonathan a month was about what we were losing.”

Beneath Femi’s warm smiles and unassuming mien pulsates a brutishness, a chilling lethalness that is effectively masked with fine face. Femi, as usual, quickly reacted to Sanusi acerbic comment “When I read this, I was left with the conclusion that this man has gone completely mad. He should provide the evidence to prove his allegation that 1 billion dollars was stolen everyday by Jonathan or he should just shut up and hold his peace”.
